Sorry, but today’s is going to be a bit short. I have a lot of errands to run and I need to get a move on!!
I’m going to just hit what I DID do for myself last week:
I did my hair and makeup. Hello woman hiding underneath the mommy! I’m not really a big makeup wearer, as you can see, but it was nice to freshen up myself.
I did end up buying some new face wash and lotions. And SO GLAD I did! The Philosophy microdelivery peel practically gave me a whole new face. I can’t even tell you the last time my skin has felt this good. (love the philosophy line)
I also did get some yoga in. So, YAY for hitting 3 items out of 5. I should have known I’d never get my rear into bed before 9pm. If there is a mom that manages that? Hats off to you!!
So here’s this weeks goals:
- walk the lake – it’s been a while and I could really go for some outdoorsy me time
- read. read. READ!!! This is one of my favorite ‘for me’ things. It’s just so peaceful, and I love having a book to just step into another world, even if for only 5 to 10 minutes.
- Put some time in on my book. Seriously this time.
- take some time to send a text to family and friends I’ve been meaning to catch up with
- purge (ok so this is kind of a chore, but to have some quiet time to myself and go into one room and look at what I can purge before we pcs… I’ll completely love myself for this later)
So there it is! I feel good about accomplishing the things on my list this week.
