Semper Fi, short for Semper Fidelis and usually iconic to the Marine Corps, means Always Faithful and is the perfect words to represent the military wife. We are, after all, always faithful to our husbands, the branch in which they serve, and the country and it’s citizens they have sworn to protect.
Semper Fi Momma is a window into my life as a military wife, momma, and the woman buried in between the two.

My name is Laura, and I am the Founder of SemperFiMomma.com. I am a USMC wife who has dedicated over 12 years to my Marine and the Corps. I absolutely love the military life and have traveled from the East Coast to the West Coast, relishing the fact that I get to live in a new area every 3 (or 4) years.
Wife life presents it’s own challenges as we tend to completely dedicate ourselves to being a wife and mommy and we often forget to ‘stay faithful’ to ourselves. It is easy to lose your sense of self in this life, something I have experienced, which is why I find it so important for military wives, and women all over, to strive to be just as faithful to themselves as they are to their families.
Writing is one of the ways I stay connected to me, sharing with my readers ways to find personal happiness.
Some of which comes from:
• #5Things4Me weekly
• baking/cooking/DIY
• health/fitness/weightloss
• books/reading
• wine time & girly chit chat
These are things I love doing. I’m also interested in new, fun techy gear and sometimes write about the groovy apps I find or the coolest gadgets and tools that help my husband stay connected to his family. I think it’s awesome to see the technology available for kids of all ages, and amazed at how quickly my children can pick something up and learn to use it.
I am married to an amazing man, and the mother of three; my son who is a 1st grader, and my twin toddler girls. Though the military life guarantees us constant change and learning how to play the cards you are dealt, I do believe in structure and finding balance amongst all the chaos. Join me as I share with you the strains and joys of military life.
